This college-level composition course is designed to develop the reading, critical thinking, and writing strategies necessary for academic success. The emphasis is on reading and writing expository essays. The course includes research and documentation skills. (Degree Credit) (CSU) (UC) AA GE, CSU GE, IGETC (C-ID: ENGL 100)
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 060 F or ENGL 099 F, with a grade of Pass, or ESL 186 F or ESL 190 F, with a grade of C or Pass, or equivalent or by assessment through the college¿s multiple measures placement processes.
