This course will develop critical thinking, reading, and writing skills as they apply to the analysis of literature and literary criticism from diverse cultural sources and perspectives. There will be an emphasis on the techniques and principles of effective written argument as they apply to literature. Research strategies, information literacy and proper documentation of courses will also be emphasized. This course fulfills the reading requirement for graduation. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 100 F or ENGL 100HF or ENGL 101 F or ENGL 110 F, with a grade of C or better.
