Study the life-span approach to developmental psychology, including prenatal life development. Gain perspective on biological, physical, cognitive, emotional, linguistic, sociocultural and spiritual changes across the life span, from prenatal and birth through the major stages of childhood, adolescence and adulthood. Examine fundamental theories, perspectives and critical thoughts about historical and current arguments in the field. Course requirements include research projects and brief class presentations.
