2014 Summer 1st 5 Wks MATH100/Lecture/M15 - Intermediate Algebra | Credits 3.00 This is an intermediate level algebra course intended for students who have previously taken a beginning algebra course. Topics include operations with polynomials, exponents, rational expressions, linear, quadratic, and rational equations, linear inequalities in one and two variables, systems of equations, and linear coordinate algebra. This course can be used to satisfy a math requirement at this college. It may not transfer to other institutions. Prerequisites: C or better grade in MATH 095 if required by placement testing; prior completion or concurrent enrollment in RDNG 116 if required by placement testing; ENGL 099 or prior completion or concurrent enrollment in ESL 103 if required by placement testing. 3 Cr.
