HIST 018 Hist/U.S. from 1865 UC/CSU 3 UNITS
A survey of the history of the U.S. from Reconstruction to the present. This course will stress the development of the economic, social, political and cultural conditions that shaped the movements, events, and trends of this period in U.S. history. Special attention will be paid to analyzing cause-effect and comparative relationships among major historical developments. Three hours lecture.
