This writing course uses individual and group instruction to help students improve critical thinking and writing skills. Students will be assigned a minimum of 6,000 words including at least two in-class
midterms and a departmental final exam. Writing assignments are often based on analysis of readings. The course prepares students for college composition. Formerly known as ENGWR 100.
