Introduction to lifespan development. Heavy emphasis is placed on the physical, cognitive, and social/emotional characteristics of children under 12 and the educational implications of those developmental characteristics. Includes a minimum of 5 one-hour observation participation visits to an elementary school. (pg. 161 of Undergraduate Catalog from 2011, which is when I took the class).
