Coordinate geometry and graphing techniques; conic sections; solutions to higher degree polynomial equations; functions; polynomial, rational, inverse, exponential and logarithmic functions; systems of nonlinear equations and inequalities; matrices and determinants; sequences and series; binomial expansion; mathematical induction; introduction to mathematical proof. The Math Department strongly recommends that any student wanting or needing extra support for this course to consider enrolling in MATH-652 concurrently with MATH-25. There is a 4 hour supplemental learning requirement that can be satisfied through the success centers, Supplemental Instruction, or by directed instructional
