HDEV 421 (Formerly 4110) - Child Cognitive Development Theories, methods, and research findings in child cognitive development from the prenatal stage to age 12. Biological and genetic foundations of cognition, perception, mental representation, problem solving, reasoning, memory, metacognition, and social cognition.

HDV 439 (Formerly 4220) - Contemporary Research Topics in Adolescent Development Examination of contemporary theories, research, issues and trends in adolescent development.

You must take BOTH of these courses to satisfy the Educational Psychology prerequisite.
