Overview of development of children with and without disabilities including: physical growth/development, cognitive, motor, social/emotional development, cultural and genetic contributors to atypical outcomes. Integrates theory and research into effective practice for working with children who manifest a range of disabilities. Prerequisite: SPE 480 and SPE 481.
