Math 3A is the first course of a two quarter sequence in Differential and Integral Calculus. Homework is typically done online. Consult your instructor about whether a specific textbook will be required. 3A covers just a little more than three chapters in a typical textbook. This gives a natural way to split the material between two midterms and a final. Study resources can be found here. Free Online resources (e.g. Videos) can be found at the online Math Lab.

Topics:

1. Limits and Derivatives

2. Differentiation Rules

3. The First and Second Derivatives
