MATH 107B. Explorations in Geometry Comprehensive view of elementary geometry primarily for the mathematical preparation of teachers. The computer will be used to investigate two – and three-dimensional patterns, measurement and parallelism. Transformational approach to congruence and similarity. Nature of inductive reasoning and deductive proof. Prerequisite: MATH 106 (with a grade of “C-” or better), or instructor consent. Normal Grade Rules 3 units
