Prerequisite: MATH-C. Advisory: ENGL-A. (Note: This course is not open to students having credit in MATH-02 or MATH-17.)
This is an advanced course in algebra including the study of real numbers, polynomials, equations and inequalities, factoring, rational expressions, exponents, roots, radicals, systems of equations, functions (including logarithmic and exponential) sequences and series, progressions and the binomial expansion.
