MATH-121 Trigonometry
3 Units: 54 hours of lecture, per term, LR, DG, CSU
Advisory: MATH 119 and concurrent enrollment in MATH 875N are highly recommended.
This course will introduce the trigonometric functions by using ratios of sides of a triangle. After extending the domains of the trigonometric functions to arbitrary angles and real numbers, we consider their graphs. We simplify complicated trigonometric expressions and learn to solve equations that involve trigonometric functions. Not repeatable.
