MATH 100: Quantitative Literacy Description Covers linear, quadratic, exponential, and logarithmic functions; systems of equations and inequalities; simple and compound interest; annuities; loan; discrete probability; counting principles, frequency distributions, measures of central tendency; measures of dispersion, confidence intervals; areas; and volumes. Draws examples from applications in the social sciences, biological sciences, and business. Uses technology as a tool to acquire, visualize, and analyze data.
