BLMC 319 Bilingual Teaching Competence: Language 3 units Fall and Spring Prerequisites: SPAN 301 or equivalent, faculty permission. This course is taught entirely in Spanish. It is designed to develop bilingual teacher competence in the area of language. The primary goals are to develop language skill in content areas such as mathematics, science, and social studies, and to enhance the language proficiency of bilingual teachers in communication with parents, faculty, and staff.
